    This work boot exceeds my performance expectations, they literally outlast any other brand I have purchased in the past. My routine brings me in contact with both water / wet conditions and wood ash. This repeated exposure deteriorates the performance of leather and causes it to Crack and well , just falls apart. This nylon material is very tough and durable, when they say 100% waterproof, it is, (but remember they are not designed to work as a rubber boot), they will keep you comfortable and dry.
    For me, these Royer Work boots are my choice. Thanks
